In imperatives, I have adopted the form of street bollards that guide our movement in public spaces. The original purpose of these objects is to prevent cars from entering pedestrian areas. The process of creating the sculpture involved reenacting the shape by manually placing gravel onto wet clay. This shape was then used to create a negative mold, which was subsequently cast in porcelain.
